Who can apply for the program?

Rising juniors and seniors in high school.

My son or daughter isn't in the required grade level. Can they still apply?

We are currently only accepting applications from rising juniors and seniors in high school since it is during these years where college planning and applications are worked on. We believe that supporting students during this period will help them make better informed college/career decisions (e.g. majors, schools, scholarships, careers, etc.)

How do you evaluate applications?

We holistically evaluate each student individually based on the application materials they submit. We take into consideration each student's unique situation and potential as well as how they might best contribute to the 2018 cohort as a whole.

When is the deadline for applications?

We will be accepting applications for the 2018 Program up until Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:59 PM (PST).

When and where does the program take place?

The program will take place in Silicon Valley from Thursday, July 26 to Sunday, July 29. Workshops will be hosted by professional staff members and company visits will be chaperoned at all times.

Where do students stay and what accommodations are there?

Students will be staying in an AirBnB and be supervised by professional staff members at all times. Bed linens and pillows will be provided. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided as well as snacks.

Who will students get to meet during the program?

We arrange panelist discussions at top tech companies and help our students best prepare to make the most out of these sessions. We aim to have a diverse group of successful individuals who can share their stories with our students and share insights/advice with them.

Does my son or daughter need money for the trip?

For the most part, students will not need to carry extra money with them. However, they may have the opportunity to make purchases at different stores during company or university visits.
