We could tell you more about what we do. But our students and their parents say it best.

After one week, he knew what he wanted to do with his life and how to get there... we need more programs like this! It’s a blessing for sure.

Thank you for giving my son the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful experience. Jacob was so happy to share all that he learned and was so thrilled that he had the opportunity to meet great people! Thank you!

A+! I want to do more networking now! Lots of things stuck with me during the program, but what I constantly keep saying (and telling everyone) is, “If you love what you do, you’ll never have to work a day.” I keep reminding myself of that and it motivates me to keep pursuing MY dreams.

Remembering that I am the CEO of my life and that asking questions is important have definitely stuck the most since leaving. Through the program, I realized that what I have to say... there's value to it. I feel super comfortable giving speeches to my club now!

I've realized that I've changed my mindset. I used to be an intelligent student who was suffering from a lack of confidence. "What's the best thing that can happen?" and "What's the worst thing that can happen?" are some of my favorite phrases now that I ask myself whenever I find myself struggling to decide between two choices. I'm just excited now, excited to find out what else I can do now that I have a more open mindset!

What stuck with me the most was everything we learned during the workshops regarding the power of networking and opportunities. Thank you for being the catalyst and giving me the opportunity that brought enlightenment so early on in my life and career!

I have been getting comfortable speaking with people one-on-one. I'm more engaged in the discussion rather than trying to ask the next question. It's funny because I've been practicing the open-ended questions we dealt with everyday, and people have told me it helps them think critically. I'd like to thank D4X again for teaching me and the other students these lessons that'll help us in the long run.

The thing that stuck with me the most is that there is no set path to "success." I am more free knowing that whatever I end up doing, it is more about the skills I have rather than the major I have.

What really stuck with me is the importance of first impressions and professionalism. I realized the importance of first impressions and communication after the program because I ended up getting a job interview for my school's bookstore. I was happy to know that I was very prepared for the interview and was not as nervous to ask questions or to answer them. I was able to get another interview for another opportunity right after!

The thing that stuck with me the most is that your pathway is not set in stone. There's more within a pathway. Taking detours and figuring out that you might have not gone the right way is okay.

I’m more open to change because I met a lot of people that said I am who I am because of my struggles. This something I never heard growing up. I learned to appreciate my struggles because I wouldn’t be who I am today otherwise.

Destined for X gave me the push I needed to network with people and get my story across. I felt super special and so respected, and never imagined highly successful people in Silicon Valley would see such great potential in me. Being recognized ignited a fire in me and motivated me to keep working harder and doing what I love. Overall, I took away to compose yourself, have a strategy, and just go for it!

Destined for X gave me hope. It's opened my eyes to a whole new world that I never imagined I'd be a part of. I was surrounded by so many intelligent and caring people, and it made me feel important.

Destined for X has empowered me to look at the bigger picture. If you want to change the world, you have to incorporate as many lives into your own and empower those who have helped you out on your own journey. Be kind to yourself and keep your head up, even in the face of adversity.

I’m leaving this program as a confident, outgoing person. I know how to network and connect with people, how to approach people and have meaningful conversations. Now I feel like I can go up to anyone to hear their story and share my own. I learned so much from such successful people whom I never even thought I could say hi to. I’ve learned that I am important, and there's nothing that can stop me.

This program has given me a new outlook and more motivation to make myself heard. I really like the attitude everyone had. They were positive, optimistic and really believed in themselves.

I met so many great people through Destined for X, and it’s amazing how much they care about us young minds and want us to succeed. Everyone I met was genuinely interested in what I was doing. I learned that my story is important and people want to hear it.
